An agreement between Capital IQ and Universiti Putra Malaysia provides access to vital datasets and analytical tools.

NEW YORK, N.Y., January 21, 2010 – Capital IQ, a Standard & Poor’s business, today announced
an agreement with the Universiti Putra Malaysia’s Graduate School of Management (GSM) to provide
faculty and students with access to the Compustat global database via Research Insight and the Capital IQ Platform. The University is the first institution in Malaysia to offer these resources to its faculty and
students, enabling them to take advantage of world-class tools for portfolio analysis, valuation analysis,
model building, and transaction scenarios and provide the competitive edge for their research papers
and projects.
